This conversion set is meant to be combined with the Special Hobby 1/48 scale X-15A-2 kit. It includes parts for the dummy ramjet carried on the world record speed flight on October 3, 1967. A resin part for the mechanical eyelid for the left windscreen is also included in the kit. The instruction sheet includes exploded assembly drawings and a short history of the flight.
