The resin parts are beautifully cast with crisp details and no visible airholes. There is some thin flash around the mold line of the Leonov figure and on the very fragile antennae. The smaller parts are numbered on their pour plugs which makes them easy to identify. The photoetched parts and decals are also numbered. All part numbers are called out in the exploded assembly drawings included in the instructions. Assembly is broken down into sections: retro-rocket module, service module, crew cabin, and EVA airlock. You will need to supply 0.5mm thick brass rod to represent Leonov's umbilical line. No display stand is provided. The instructions also include detailed painting guides in the assembly steps and call out the paints by Testors, Humbrol, and Revell color numbers. A two page article on the Voskhod program and sources written by Barry Davidoff is also included.
