The resin parts are beautifully molded with crisp details and no visible airholes. The parts are still on their pour stubs. There is some flash around the Soyuz umbilical that will also need to be removed. The smaller detail parts have numbers molded on their stubs to help in indentification. Thermal blankets, radiators and other details are molded directly on the parts. Photoetched parts, identified by number or letter on the brass sheet, provide solar panels, antennae and other details. Decals are provided to represent the solar cells on one side of the photoetched part. The backside of the solar panels are wonderfully detailed on the other side. The modeler will need to provide 0.5 mm wire or rod for some details. The instructions consist of several graphically shown steps, with parts called out by number. Many detailed drawings for assembly and painting are also included along with an overall four-view painting guide. A two page program history rounds out the kit.
