The kit parts are beautifully cast with crisp details, a smooth surface finish and no visible airholes. All parts, except for the engine nozzles, are solidly molded. The engine bells are nicely hollowed out. All parts are still attached to their pour plugs and the modeler will have to remove a section of the Atlas as detailed in the graphical instructions to accurately represent the first successfully flown vehicle. The steel pin represents the aerospike at the top of the vehicle. In addition to the graphical assembly instructions, the instruction sheet includes a short program history and a four view painting and decaling guide.
