This conversion set is meant to be combined with the Tamiya 1/48 scale Douglas F4D-1 Skyray kit (#61055) to represent the Naval Ordinance Test Station (NOTS) satellite launch vehicle. The resin parts are solid (except for the nicely hollow engine exhaust bells) with no visible air holes. All parts are still on their pour plugs. The instruction sheet consists of an exploded assembly drawing accompanied by several views of the assembled rocket and its location to the F4D-1 Skyray on the left underwing pylon. A four view graphical painting and decaling guide is also included on the sheet. Decals are included for the F4D-1 Skyray to depict the markings for the launch attempt aircraft.
